1967 CHRYSLER VALIANT VC- $69999

The VC Valiant was introduced in 1966, replacing the outgoing AP6 Valiant. The VC was the
fifth generation model of Chrysler Valiant, receiving a large facelift over the AP6 with a newly
designed front grille, bumpers, bonnet and vertical taillights. 225ci slant sixes were available
as well as the 273ci designated for V8 models. Sedan body styles were popular, while the
‘Safari’ Wagon and ‘Wayfarer’ Ute styles were also available. Production of the VC Valiant at
Tonsley Park continued until 1967.

This particular example is a rare factory V8 VC Valiant manufactured at Tonsley Park in
South Australia. This VC is finished in a subtle shade of white with contrasting black vinyl
roof. Being a factory V8, additional ‘8’ themed badging appears on the bonnet, C-pillars and
boot. Period correct ‘V8’ hubcaps are also fitted with dress rings to suit. To add to the period
correct look, a set of white wall tyres are fitted.

The interior presents neatly with contrasting black vinyl trim and carpet. ‘8’ themed steering
wheel and ‘V Eight’ door trim badges are evident and add to the rare nature of this example.
This example also features a floor mounted gear selector with buckets seats and a full-length
centre console arrangement. Rear venetian blinds at a touch of character.

This example runs a 273ci V8 mated to a three-speed automatic transmission. This
combination provides for a true period correct driving experience.
